Electrical services we offer

Standard secondary service voltages (supplied and metered)

See Secondary Voltage Revenue Metering – 750 V and less and consult with BC Hydro for details.

  • 120/240V (1-phase, 3-wire)
  • 120/208V Wye (3-phase, 4-wire)
  • 347/600V Wye (3-phase, 4-wire)
  • 120/208V Network (3-phase, 4-wire)*

* Main network services isolated to special cases only.

Additional sub-service voltages (metered only)

See Secondary Voltage Revenue Metering – 750 V and less for details.

  • 120/208V Network (2-phase, 3-wire)
  • 277/480V Wye (3-phase, 4-wire)**
  • 240V, 480V, or 600V Delta (3-phase, 3-wire)**

** These aren't standard BC Hydro service voltages. They require customer supply of the power transformers.

Standard primary service voltages (supplied and metered)

Refer to the Primary Guide or Requirements for Primary Service Voltage Revenue Metering for the most up-to-date standards. Availability depends on the BC Hydro system configuration in the area.

  • 35kV: 19,920/34,500V Wye (3-phase, 4-wire)***
  • 25kV: 14,400/24,940V Wye (3-phase, 4-wire)
  • 12kV: 7,200/12,470V Wye (3-phase, 4-wire)
  • 4kV: 2,400/4,160V Wye (3-phase, 4-wire)
  • 35kV: 19,920 (1-phase, 2-wire)***
  • 25kV: 14,400 (1-phase, 2-wire)
  • 12kV: 7,200 (1-phase, 2-wire)
  • 4kV: 2,400 (1-phase, 2-wire)

*** 35kV class is restricted to a number of rural circuits in the Central Interior.
