Competitive electricity acquisition processes (CEAP)
If we decide to run a competitive process to acquire electricity, we'll formally initiate a competitive electricity acquisition process (CEAP). This is most commonly initiated to support a call for power.
Participants who want to participate will have the option to attend workshops to learn about the process and requirements. If you choose to take part in the CEAP, you'll need to:
- Submit the required interconnection documents according to the provided timeline.
- Pay the applicable deposits as required in the OATT's Attachment M-2 [PDF, 135 KB].

This CEAP is to support the 2025 Call for Power.

Submission instructions
The pre-submission window for the 2025 Call for Power CEAP closed on September 2, 2025 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. Participants who did not make a pre-submission are not eligible for this CEAP.
