Private Outdoor Lighting Service

The BC Utilities Commission (BCUC) has approved our application to terminate service under our Private Outdoor Lighting rate (Rate Schedule 1755) for BC Hydro owned and maintained outdoor lights illuminating private property after September 2022.

We’re asking you to provide us your preference for your private outdoor lighting service to make it easier to plan for the transition.

You’ll need to have a copy of the letter we sent you in order to complete this form.

We can only act on requests from the property owner. Therefore, if you’re leasing or renting at the service address, please ask the property owner to complete this form.
