Residential rates

How we calculate your electricity costs

For residential customers, you can choose between two rate plans.

Tiered rate

Most residential customers are on this rate plan. It features two-tier energy charges based on how much electricity you use in each billing period.

Tiered rate with time-of-day pricing

We launched this optional rate plan in June 2024. It combines two-tier energy charges based on how much electricity you use in each billing period, as well as time-varying pricing. Electricity is more expensive in the evening, and cheapest overnight.

Farm customers

If your property is classified as a farm, there are different rate plans available to you.

Residential exempt rate

Available to eligible farms, this rate plan has a flat energy charge per kilowatt-hour that stays the same throughout the billing period.

Residential exempt rate with time-of-day pricing

Available to eligible farms, this rate plan features time-varying pricing that's more expensive in the evening and cheapest overnight.
