This application form is for Home Renovation Rebate and EfficiencyBC* Program participants. Fill out the application form below to apply for your rebate(s).


Before you get started:


  • Do you have your BC Hydro and/or Fortis BC Account Number, where the upgrade was installed, ready to enter?
  • Have you met all of the eligibility requirements for each rebate? You must apply for rebates on completed upgrades within 6 months of the invoice date.
  • Do you know your primary heat source prior to upgrade? Do you know your primary heating source after upgrade?
  • Do you have all your invoices ready? All invoices must be submitted at the time of application, each invoice must show:
    • Contractor name and address
    • Contractor GST number
    • Invoice Date
    • Value of work complete and paid in full
  • Did you complete an EnerGuide Home Evaluation with an Energy Advisor? Apply for your rebates online after the Energy Advisor has completed the both pre- and post-evaluations. Once submitted, please provide your Energy Advisor with your application reference number.
  • Are you the BC Hydro account holder where the upgrades were completed? You need to fill out the Utility Account Holder Consent Form if you are not the BC Hydro account holder.

To avoid delays, ensure you have all information ready before you start your application. Your application is not submitted or saved until you have pressed ‘Submit’ on Step 6. The application will time out after 60 minutes. Once your application is submitted, you will receive an application reference number via email.

If you are not the utility account holder, please have the utility account holder complete the Utility Account Holder Consent Form and upload the signed document with your application.
