Apply for rebates for upgrades in your unit

Available to qualifying projects in individual strata, equity co-op, or market rental suites.

Review the following information before you start:

Participants in the CleanBC Energy Savings Program or the CleanBC Income Qualified Program aren’t eligible to apply for this offer.

The application takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. After you’ve input your contact information, you can save the application and return and complete it later. Remember to select “Save” along the way.

Application requirements

  1. Review the program terms and conditions and the individual rebate requirements below before you begin.
  2. Only suites in a low-rise or high-rise apartment/condo building, stacked townhome, or multiplex with six or more units are eligible.

    Suites in a single-family home, duplex, or side-by-side townhome aren’t eligible. Please see the Home Renovation Rebate program instead.

  3. You must have a pre-approval code for your project. Don't have one? Request pre-approval.
  4. Collect your account number from your utility bill (i.e. BC Hydro or New Westminster)
  5. Have digital copies of your paid contractor invoice(s) ready to upload.
  6. If you’re not the account holder, you and the account holder must fill out the utility account holder consent form.

Due to the volume of applications that we receive, applications can take up to 90 days to process. You’ll be able to track the status of your application once it’s submitted.
